Congratulations

These super learners were awarded certificates today.

Zackai, Tyler, Jude, Sophie and Nicole got certificates in assembly today for getting a full set of Wai Learner certificates (or 2).  Well done!  Ben received the class award for working so hard and being such a happy learner.  We think you are super.

Today was Learning Team One's talent show and Sophie danced to Debussy - Arabesque #1...how beautiful!  Nicole took over Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Baby' and got through to the final with her super singing and cool moves.  Well done both of you.  We loved watching the talent show - dancing, singing, funny jokes and the recorder...great variety!

Everyone at Waimataitai walked and walked and WALKED for an hour on Friday and raised pots of money for their playground.  The Student Council have been planning to make a confidence course for around our school.  Everyone's efforts on Friday will make this plan a reality.
Thank you to all those sponsors who will pay the students this week.  Some of the children ran so there will be a good amount of money raised.
